Amiee's

French cuisine is said to be one of the best, and I totally agree. Of course, you can get french cuisine in France, but if you live in L.A. and can settle without the beautiful Eiffel Tower view, there is a fantastic restaurant in Torrance called Amiee's. It's a great restaurant with real french waiters. The owner is a friendly lady who remembers all of her costumers. Once you sit down, you look at the menu with no clue what to eat. Usually they have a special menu that changes everyday. The main ingredient doesn't change, but the sauces and the side dishes do. The special menu has fois gras and escargot that are the best! The fois gras is creamy and very rich with a salty sensation. It comes in some kind of fruit sauce that goes perfectly with it. The escargot is also a salty sensation with a pesto garlic sauce. It is chewy and you can't believe it's snail! Please try it!!!!
