Day: 5
I've been super busy these days, so sorry for the delay of blogging. I need to blog about more topics, so I need to write about 3 days. Anyway, back to the topic! Welcome to Skagway! Skagway is just a small town with a population of 800 people. Skagway is all about the gold rush time, so everything is very acient. Tonight's dinner was soooooooooooo good! For an appetizer, I had pate along with a strawberry lemonade thyme infused sorbet. You cannot imagine how good that combination is. For a main course, I had scallops with assorted veggies. For dessert, I had some type of ice cream?
Day:6
A day at sea is good for: eating!!! I joined a Jr. Chef @ Sea program, so I got to decorate a cake! It was humongous! I had no way of finishing it, so my mom helped me. For dinner, I had a seafood pate with a trio of CAVIAR!!! It was heaven in my mouth! For a soup, I had a Pina Colada (with no alcohol). Last, but not least the main course was... lobster tail!!! I know I've said that day 5 had good food, but compared to this dinner, that was just a speck of dust! The lobster tail was perfectly cooked with some butter and fresh shrimp.
Day: 7
Welcome to Victoria! (British Columbia) Today was a sad day for me, because this was going to be my last dinner. Anyway, no more tears. I had a seafood salad with all sorts of goodies, like squid, avocado, lobster claw, oranges... etc. It was very refreshing and was a perfect match with the beautiful weather. For the main course, I had block mussels in a white wine sauce. It was great, but I was tired after eating them. LOL! For a dessert, I had a passion fruit souffle that was not too good. I didn't taste any passion fruit inside. This concludes my Princess Cruise Food Diary to Alaska. Maybe I'll make another one for a different cruise...
