Princess Cruise Food Diary Day: 2













Day 2 food was great, but not the best. For an appetizer, I had a smoked duck with a cranberry sauce. It was DELICIOUS! The duck was not over smoked and was not as salty as I expected it to be. I have to say, the sauce was a little bit too sour. As a main course, I had shrimp. This dish was disappointing to me. There was just shrimp, along with some rice and veggies. I liked the shrimp's flavor, but it was too rich. I felt like I was eating a stick of butter. Last but not least, dessert. I had grapefruit sorbet and a chocolate souffle. The grapefruit sorbet was so original and very refreshing to my mouth. The souffle was the opposite. I was in heaven with all that creaminess. It was a good feeling of richness, not like the shrimp. I went back to my cabin with a warm feeling in my tummy.
