Princess Cruise Food Diary Day: 1
From July 4 to July 11, I have been on a magical cruise. I was on a Alaska Princess cruise. This was my fourth Princess cruise, but it was the best. I was on Sapphire Princess, a boat with friendly crew and great chefs. My favorite part was... the FOOD!!! Since I was on a 7 day cruise, I will talk about the food one day at a time. Now I will talk about day 1's food. For lunch, I ate at the over sized buffet! It was not like any buffet you've been at before. It was basically heaven for food lovers! There was food from all over the world! Since I was going to Alaska, there was a lot of salmon. Smoked salmon, salmon sandwiches, grilled salmon, and much more! For dinner, I ate in one of the anytime dinning restaurants called Santa Fe. There are two types of dinning. One is traditional dinning, where you are assigned a time and table that you have to eat at everyday. Another choice is anytime dinning where you can pick your restaurant and your table everyday. Anyway, every anytime dinning restaurant has a specialty dish. For Santa Fe, it was fajitas. Whatever type of dinning you choose, you get a full menu! Day 1 had some great food, like seafood pate, thick steak, and a special fish.
